Inverboyndie Beach, Cullykhan Beach and Sandend beach are worth a visit. A trip through small historic fishing villages full of history and heritage, including Whitehills, Portsoy, Gardenstown, Crovie and Pennan is also a must.
Wildlife is abundant, with a large variety of birds, deer, dolphins, seals and the occasional whale being spotted around the area. Boat trips can be taken from nearby Macduff Harbour in search of the local wildlife and to enjoy the coastal views. Macduff Marine Aquarium features many of the smaller sea creatures that inhabit local waters.

Keen walkers and cyclists will find plenty coastal trails to explore.
